The worst part of that Commanders v Bears game last night? Those orange helmets that the Bears were wearing. Please, never again! And I say this as someone who always roots against the Bears.

I don't know that anyone should admit to watching even the coin toss of that game.

The broadcast crew must be wondering if these TNF matchups are Putin's revenge for Al Michaels' classic call of the 1980 Olympic men's hockey game.

From what I saw, I actually liked the unis last night, but given the quality of play and the way the team colors were represented, if I was an Oklahoma State or Virginia Tech fan, I'd be pissed.

I don't mind the Bears wearing an orange jersey, it was the orange helmet that pushed me over the edge

I understand your concern.

However, OSHA staffers and Lake Michigan Air/Sea Rescue team members who were at the game were thrilled with the orange helmets.

Of course, my long held belief is that if players are going to dress conspicuously, they'd better play conspicuously. Conspicuously good, that is.

I'm tired of Notre Dame going gold or green and getting whupped. It's not a good look. Oregon is fortunate to have excelled a lot of times when wearing their comic book action hero unis. They didn't look good all tarted up against classic Auburn in the 2011 title game.

The new digital boards advertising in the NHL is going to have a lot of fans.
