When the Kyler story broke, the first thing I thought of was a blast from my youthful past.

And while the Cards want Kyler to hole up in his man cave with a mountain of film, the Pelicans want Zion to stay the heck out of the kitchen.

But the Zion clause really isn't a story, is it? I think we all know the dude has a tendency to go north of the Dunlop Line, right? And speaking of Duke basketball, I came across this gem last night in a Chapel Hill bar.
And dang it, beavy, your link to that awesome J Geils Band song made me think of this MC5 classic.

Charles Barkley and Corliss Williamson played at around 250 (or less) and they're about the same 6'5" - 6'6" tweener height as Zion.
Barkley came into the league at around 300 and got down to a proper playing weight with the guidance of Moses Malone. He ended up weighing 35 pounds less than the team wanted him to weigh.
Zion's mandated upper weight limit is too high.
On a cuisine basis, Zion should have gone to a place like Indiana or Orlando instead of New Orleans.
On an injury basis, he should have been drafted by Portland. They have a tradition unlike any other.

What is the "Dunlop Line" - I picture it being like that line in baseball that if you fall below it you're a terrible hitter. But maybe, somehow, for weight? Does it refer to Dunlop tires?

The Kyler Murray homework clause storyline has been my favorite of the summer.
