Stanley Cup Playoffs Get New Branding: The Stanley Cup Playoffs are getting a new logo after 13 years. Here's the old one for comparison. The NHL has a microsite illustrating the changes, which include a more photorealistic cup and a font inspired by the Windsor Hotel where the league was founded in 1917.

I like the change. Of course, if I hadn't been told, I wouldn't even have noticed that the logo changed. But since it was helpfully pointed out to me, I vote yes.
