This from Front Office Sports of Nov. 22.

"Cleveland Guardians fans were finally able to purchase team merchandise for the first time on Friday as the team transitioned from the 106-year old Indians name. However, the Guardians Team Shop sign at Progressive Field fell to the sidewalk and smashed into pieces shortly after the merch went on sale."

Things like this were taken as omens by the ancients.
