Thank you for posting that, Howard. I was very sad when I saw the news. Some things you shouldn't find out by looking at your phone.
I loved that group of overachieving receivers the Pats had back then - Patten, Troy Brown and David Givens. Deion Branch had to work hard to get his number called in those days.
I was especially fond of Patten's game, the joy he brought to the field, and the crucial catches he made in big games. RIP

RIP David Patten, passed away at 47 after a motorcycle accident.
