Why don't see the screwball thrown anymore?

In one of their mock drafts, ESPN referred to Jared Goff as the Lions' franchise quarterback.

NoMich, the screwball is still being thrown, but nobody calls it a screwball anymore. Rather, it's called a cutter or a cut fastball. The circle change-up has a similar action to the screwball, breaking toward the arm side of the pitcher. In Japan, the pitch is called the "shuuto". Nice videos; batters were muttering some very bad words.
