I think it's neat that the Houston Rockets are paying homage to the Oilers by using their colors for the Rockets' city uniform this season, but they fell short by not including the derrick somewhere. Booo!!
I hated the Celtics city uniform until I read that it's based on the championship banners they have hanging in the rafters, then I filled with awe with that amazing flex.
Utah and Miami have the best city uniforms with San Antonio and Charlotte coming in close in 2nd and 3rd place. Charlotte has the best regular unis, though.

Well, the Bay Lightning have a way out of their severe cap issues: put Nikita Kucherov and his ailing hip on long term injured reserve. Oof.

I saw a picture of Gordon Hayward handling the ball in a Charlotte uniform and thought he looked like a strawberry ice cream cone in a carnival popcorn box.

2020 NBA Uni Preview:
Clever Raptors: "chevron" is French for "rafter". Close, but no cigale. Et no fourmi.
To people sitting on the non-media side of the Sixers alternate court, the center circle will read "9 L".
The Bulls uni looks like it was designed for Dave Corzine.
The Cleveland jersey is fittingly done as a ransom note. They've got to ditch the prehistoric "C".
The Miami designs were stolen right out of the 1990's Orlando airport.
Oklahoma: that's motor oil right there. Wait, maybe it's anti-freeze.
Amusing seeing the "honey" sponsor logo above the Clippers' menacing Germanic "Hells Angeles" City font. It's the equivalent of seeing Donald Sterling and his girlfriend sitting courtside.

I just looked at the uniforms for all the teams, and my impression is that some are good, some are hideous, and most are ok. A note on the Celtics unis: I don't believe that any significant feature of the uni, other than the length of the shorts, has changed since 1946. It's still white at home, green on the road, and nothing other than solid colors. There's something to be said for tradition.
The Celtics unis are supposed to reflect the championship banners, but did you know about the link between the banners and the uniforms? If you look carefully at the banners, you will see the letters NBA near the bottom center. On some of the banners, the letters are green on a white background, and they are within a circle that is filled in in a crescent shape at top and bottom. On the other banners, the letters are in white inside a green circle. The banners with the NBA in white on the green circle were all decided in a game away from Boston, while the others were won at home, Thus the uniform reference; white letters on a green uniform on the road, and green letters on a white uniform at home.
