That was a good game last night, or at least until I went to bed around the middle of the 3rd quarter. Good offense and some big defensive plays. But man, Indy needs some discipline on their defense. So many bad penalties. And fear the Woofie quarterbacks, those monstrous touchdown machines.

It's like Gostkowski is on a mission to take his name from one end of the recordbooks to the other.
Nice story from the lone Everton fan in Stillwater, OK here.

Meanwhile the former Titans PK, who has the perfect name for the Trump era NFL, is doing pretty well for Tom Brady's new team.

Joe Buck did make a Woofie shoutout to all the guys playing in that game making huge contributions. Besides the QBs, Nyheim Hines had a huge night.

We're off to attend the Tennessee Titans special teams tryouts.
Can't make it this time, beaverboard. I'm on IR for a couple of weeks. Had 2 basal cell sarcomae removed from my face in the past week, and the surgeon says no heavy exercise for 2 weeks. The procedures went well, and all of the bad stuff was removed. The best part is that I look like I survived a knife fight, so I can have some fun with that. Mike Vrabel, being a Belichick disciple, must be tearing his hair out over his special teams failures. He and Gostkowski were teammates, so it really must hurt him to see the loss of ability.

Heal up well, sir.
A friend of mine who is an attorney had to have a similar procedure done. She scheduled the surgery for right before a big trial.
She walked into court and had the case won before either side made a statement.
When she got home, her smart aleck daughters said, "Well, Mummy, how'd you do?"
She knew she had to prevail because we told her that if she lost, her only career alternative would be to take over the role of Mayhem in the Allstate ads.

You may not hear from Howard and me for a few days.
We're off to attend the Tennessee Titans special teams tryouts.
One of us has a good shot at being signed as their new punter. The other would be signed as the new placekicker.
There's no age limit on the tryouts due to the growing sense of urgency among the coaching staff and front office.
