Ryan Dempster barehands one hit out of Wrigley (during BP) on his bike. He's kind of an everyman fixture around here in Lakeview/Wrigleyville. He's been the parent volunteer linesman at couple of my sons' soccer games and I see him at kids basketball games at the Y and at the grocery from time to time. Canadians, they're just like us.

Ryan Dempster is so great that they prenamed a major thoroughfare in the Chicagoland area for him.

The Mavs and Clippers were in a barnburner until Porzingis got ejected for the two softest technical fouls in history.

I haven't been this angry at NBA refs since the 2006 finals. That was some goddamn Donaghy-ass bullshit.

Not that I'm biased or anything, but still.

That said, if 21-year-old Luka can drop 42/7/9 against the defensive swarm of Kawhi/PG-13/Beverly/Lou Williams in his NBA playoff debut even after losing KP...

Future is bright. And I think after this game, we may have a chance against the Clips, tbh.

I fear the Mavs needed that game to have a shot at the upset, but it was great to see such a lights-out performance in the first playoff game of Luka and Porzingis.
