For the Hurricanes? Pretty shitty. For Tukka Rask? Probably pretty damn good since he's back home with his family which includes a newborn daughter. It's still huge news that a player would go home in the midst of the playoffs. I wonder how many others will do the same to be with a family that they miss dearly.

Yeah. Just yanking your chain when I saw the score. I can totally appreciate his priorities in heading out; family has to trump everything, even the playoffs. I'm glad to see the Bruins stood behind his decision so graciously.

If Tuukka's head was not in the game, it's better for Bruins that he did drop out. Give him credit for honesty, and while some see him as deserting the team, he should be seen as doing the right thing for the team.
