OK, but if you knew that if you drafted Ryan Leaf, you would then be able to draft Drew Brees? And then draft Eli Manning but actually get Phillip Rivers instead? It all balanced out.

You know who knew that and tried to follow the model? The Bengals with Akili Smith. Never woulda got Carson Palmer without it!
