Here in MA where all non-essential businesses closed yesterday at noon by governmental decree, I just realized that if Mitt Romney was still our governor, all the liquor stores would be closed.

We'd end up living our own version of the Waltons. Ma would be sewing face masks at the kitchen table and Pa would be outside making booze next to the hen enclosure.

Here in your neighboring state to the north, the liquor stores are run by the state. There's no way this major source of state revenue would be shut down. As long as the MA State Police aren't patrolling the border (they did this for a time, and there's a great urban legend about a MA trooper spending a few days in jail for it), come up north and stock up.
