Not understanding the NFL's scheduling mentality.

Today, they have the Texans hosting the early game and the Pats hosting the late game. The Texans play indoors and are in a later time zone. Why not have the Pats play the early game? The gloom of night at Gillette Stadium is going to be like something out of a Basil Rathbone - Sherlock Holmes episode.

Same deal with tomorrow's games. Why have the Eagles play outdoors at dusk and the Saints play indoors in the early afternoon?

Maybe it has something to do with the Ideal Gas Law.

Ha!

Going from Booger McFarland early to Tony Romo late on color commentary is giving me whiplash.
