Harbaugh bailed out of the 49ers situation because Jed York figured he knew how to configure an NFL roster better than he did. The 49ers sucked horrendously until York finally realized he didn't know what the hell he was doing and hired Lynch to assume that responsibility. I can't see any way he would enter a situation in Dallas that is worse than the one he left in SF.
Rivera is interesting. He's also proven he can win given decent talent, which Dallas certainly has. Is Jerry still clubbing with the players? Really hard for a coach to be successful getting through to players when the owner is part of their posse.

Dallas has to win next week to restore Garrett to his natural state of 8-8.

- Garrett is the second winningest coach in Cowboys' history.
- The last Dallas coach to win a title was Barry Switzer.

Jeremy Roenick suspended by NBC Sports indefinitely, without pay, for fantasizing about a 3-way with his wife and fellow hockey broadcasters Kathryn Tappen. And he went downhill from there.

So even though the Cowboys have a history of losing every big Decemeber game dating back to the late nineties I figured no way the Eagles could beat them with a reported 10 starters out of the lineup. Teams have known for weeks that Wentz only has 2 remaining options on offense and have set defenses to shut those down. But not the Cowboys ..
The coaching approach was questionable at best, but worse is the way key Dallas players appeared to take the game off. Maybe Garrett is so tired of the circus he is deliberately trying to get fired. But who could they find to replace him?
