I heard even Chris Webber was criticizing Nick Nurse's "kill our own momentum" timeout with 3 minutes left last night. And then he doesn't take one to setup some type of play with the ball and a chance to win the series.

Honestly, Nurse has come up with some decent moves on the defensive end this series but offensively aside from Gasol setting screens I can't recall them scoring off of a set play ("give the ball to Kawhi and get out of his way" is not a set play). Golden State, on the other hand, is getting a good chunk of their points off of the same 2 set offensive plays.

I didn't see if Heath, Ertz, or Lavelle were subbed off due to injury, but leaving Alex Morgan in to score 5 against Thailand is ridiculous. As is subbing in 3 attacking players.

Ridiculous?

No, classless. But expected.

Twitter has hashed and rehashed the USWNT win. Amazingly the wiki page on Blowout (sports) does a good job explaining the ethics and sportsmanship angle of blowouts.

As I read through the blowouts, it is interesting what side fans and the public fall. The Covenant School 100-0 win over Dallas Academy is so bad that Covenant's administration called for a forfeit of its own win, calling it "shameful and an embarrassment." But no one probably says the same about Secretariat winning by 31 lengths at the Belmont Stakes.
