Josh McDaniels
Some fans at TB Buccaneers message boards are hoping that he'll become our next HC, while others suspect that the reason he hasn't already been poached from other teams is that there is a backroom deal to anoint him as Belichick's successor.

Can't see how following in Belichick's footsteps would be a more coveted position than moving on to another organization. It would be different if Brady was 12 years younger and Gronk and other key players were young developing stars. Getting old with nothing in cupboard.

I'm not sure which is less attractive, following after Belichick or getting McDaniels as a HC. The guy seems to be a functional OC under a great coach but is a thoroughly toxic individual.

The Patriots should continue to be in good shape with Josh McDaniels as their Offensive Coordinator after they hire Vrabel to succeed Belichick.
