Join SportsFilter's New Fantasy Basketball League: The NBA season opens in 12 days. SportsFilter is starting a new ESPN Fantasy Basketball league, Boozer's Bad Hair Day, that drafts on the last Sunday night before opening night. Scoring is head-to-head category, which means you compete against another player each week in nine categories: field goal percentage, free throw percentage, three pointers made, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, personal fouls and points. I'm in. Been a long time since I've played Fantasy Hoops, though. Is personal fouls a common category now? Seems kind of strange to me.

ESPN lets you customize categories. I added PF. The other categories are standard.

I thought fouls adds the same kind of strategic wrinkle as penalty minutes in hockey.
