I admire his forthrightness and sincerity but in the current climate, he's apologizing too hard.

No one got knocked out cold in a hotel elevator, and his level of transgression is a small order of fries on the Ross-Manafort scale.

Give me a rookie white collar criminal with a shred of remorse over a woman beater or a Buffalo Bill Romanowski any day.

Agreed with everything (except the statement that he's a rookie-he's played 5 seasons in Philly). Dude sounds like a stand-up guy who got talked into something he didn't quite understand thinking it was under the radar, and he got popped. Now he owns it.
