SportsFilter: The Wednesday Huddle:
A place to discuss the sports stories that aren't making news, share links that aren't quite front-page material, and diagram plays on your hand. Remember to count to five Mississippi before commenting in anger.
Not sure if you are the only one, but I do not have to sign in every time I come back to SpoFi.
Though, today, it did ask me to sign in, and once I provided the necessary information it told me I was already signed in.

Seems like the cookies are now session-only, so yes, you have to sign in each time.

For a brief period of time, I was getting auto logged out (or something like that) after sleeping the computer and waking it back up a few days ago, but now all seems OK.
Isn't it fun when you have login problems with a banking or payment website and you call their web support team and the methodical, distant voice from Palembang asks you which browser you're using and you can feel them frown their disapproval when you give them the answer? You are told that your personal choices are the source of your technical issue.
They formally address you by your first name of course, so the workaround would go like: "All right Mr. No, I would like to request that you please close your browser and try Internet Explorer instead."
As soon as I hear the word "Internet", I'm already tabbing up the online English to Malay translator so I can reply with a hearty "up yours, pal".
"Also Mr. No, perhaps you would consider choosing a different screen name for more positive results in the future".
"Sure buddy. You find me a region of my home state that's called Yestern Michigan, and maybe I'll think about it."
I have no doubt that Mr. Rogers is on the case and will resolve any lingering concerns at SpoFi very soon.

Ted Leonsis: Lets go to Vegas

Crazy that the Leonsis crowd is staying at the Excalibur of all places. Shouldn't they be staying at the Renaissance or something? Where's the sense of thematic loyalty?
Gosh I hope the network isn't taking advice from Barkley and Jordan on where to bunk Doc Emerick for the Vegas games. Leave that man alone. He's too important.
Don Cherry HAS to stay at the Flamingo. They already have a suite wallpapered with some of his most vivid yardage.

Am the only one that has to sign in every time I come back to SpoFi after launching a new browser window?
