Can't admit this to my MA neighbors or my Oakland family members, but I'm at the point where I want to see a James Harden v. LeBron Finals, just on a pure interplanetary stud basis.

The theme song for the matchup was written almost 50 years ago.

I can't take much more Harden. If he's going to get to the Finals, please let it be against the Celtics and Marcus Smart.

I was lucky enough to see The Hold Steady and Drive-By Truckers tour together when they were covering Look Out Cleveland on an every-other-night basis. Sadly (I guess) the night in Boston was a "Don't Fear the Reaper" night instead.

Is it just me, or has the BOS v CLE series thus far been kinda bad basketball?

bad basketball?

It's not so much bad basketball as it is one team playing good defense while missing easy and open shots when with the ball. Cleveland has a reputation of being soft on defense, but they played some fairly solid D tonight One of the advantages of watching the game live is to be able to concentrate on the defensive battle between two players There were some very tough wars tonight.

Yeah, it's been fairly shit from a neutral's perspective. Thankfully for Howard and I, every home win feels like found money. Both Conference Finals other than Game 4 in the West have been blowouts.

I mean, Boston won last night, but they shot only 36% from the floor. That's some fairly shit basketball, right there.
