Then it wasn't quite "Arconada... Armstrong!" but "Pyatov... McGinn!" will still start a proper party.

Was there an explanation of what happened with NI's third substitute? I couldn't tell if there was a legitimate miscommunication among the officials and then NI milked it for a delay or if it was just time wasting.

I've been informed that the hit total above does not include Ichiro's Japanese minor league or Japanese playoff totals. If you include those, he jumps over Ty Cobb and moves into second with 4,423. He's still well behind Pete Rose's total.

Everton have been linked with Ajax & Poland's Arkadiusz Milik (#7). After 71 minutes of this game, he ought to be available on a free transfer. Just not his day.
