I was snowboarding up at Steamboat Springs this weekend and caught a bit of banter between a Broncos fan and a Patriots fan. There were a few solid jabs back and forth but the one that really brought the house down: "Tom Brady skis in his jeans." In Colorado, nothing bites as hard as calling someone a gaper.

There was a point in the game at which I would have touted Kony Ealy for MVP. If not for the heroics of Von Miller & Co., he could have been a latter day Chuck Howley: MVP for the losing team in an uninspiring, error-filled game.

Given the length of time and the brutality of the sport, I was VERY surprised that only one Super Bowl MVP (of the 50..two people tied one year) had passed away.
I couldn't help but notice how many of them were walking very gingerly, or with a limp...

The Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee discussed whether to induct Eddie DeBartolo Jr.
For some reason, I read this as them discussing to "indict" Eddie DeBartolo, Jr.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee discussed whether to induct Eddie DeBartolo Jr. for more than 50 minutes. They discussed whether to induct Brett Favre for roughly the length of time it took to read the previous sentence.
