I'd like Walt Frazier to call the day after one of my corporate league hoop games. "You were elevating and devestating last night ... mystifying defenders!"

Oddly enough, I cannot think of a single thing. Unless it was, say, Mia Hamm calling to say thanks for last night's pleasure.

I don't know if his is yet common practice - but the guerilla markerters for the Toronto sports teams these days have been using Bell to try to attract people to the games. Twice I've had recorded messages on my service from Carlos Delgado and Roy Halladay. "Hi. It's Roy Halladay of the Toronto Blue Jays. Just want to let you know that the White Sox will be in town..."

"Hi. It's Roy Halladay of the Toronto Blue Jays. Just want to let you know that the White Sox will be in town..." That's either one of the coolest or one of the saddest things I've ever heard. Especially if it wasn't a recording (although I assume it was). Heh.
