Has there ever been a ball thrown that high in an NFL game?

Yes, Rex Grossman threw one of his patented Stay Puft marshmallow balls into the wind at Soldier Field in 2007. It's still up there. Currently hovering over the lake shore, halfway between the Aquarium and the Navy Pier. It is very slowly and gradually moving northward. Where it eventually lands depends on a number of factors, including the El Nino.
Given his natural gifts and abilities, Grossman would have made more of a name for himself if he had played baseball.

"Los D-Backs". Ugh. There's an actual word for it in Spanish, you knobs.

Since it's a proper noun, don't you keep it that particular word?

If you're going to Espaol-ify it by adding "Los" despite no other uniform having "The" on it, then why not go all the way?

The Padres don't have to worry about this at all.

Our mascot is better than your mascot. He bungee jumps off the light poles before games. Yours makes happy or angry gestures under the goal posts after field goal attempts.

That mascot is officially the highest point in Florida. Higher than the hill in Lake Wales.

In more ways than one, I'm guessing.

Meh, the monks at my old school get higher than that.

Teams that haven't been to the Super Bowl keep finding brutal ways to lose a ballgame.
To borrow from the Michigan state motto:
Si Quaeris Devastatio Circumspice
(this banner was also flown in Ann Arbor a few weeks ago)
