Fantasy Premier League, Week Six: Premier League play begins early Saturday with Chelsea vs. Arsenal. FC Gallifrey holds on to the lead for a second week, seven points ahead of Hillbilly F.C. Maplewood Town and Liquid Football tie for the week's best score at 56 points, led by Leicester midfielder Riyad Mahrez's 11 points -- 22 for Liquid Football in a well-chosen captain double. Mahrez ranks in the top 3 pickups this week alongside Man City defender Aleksandar Kolarov and Everton midfielder Ross Barkley. Top drop: Man U defender Luke Shaw after his broken leg.
LOL I think he scores this weekend.

Crap this is two weeks running I forgot to update anything, which corresponds with my drop from the lofty tops of our league straight to the basement.

I used my triple captain on Mahrez - 33 points, but ...
Guess who had Hart, Kolarov and Sagna (4 points combined) AND Cazorla (minus-1 with the red card) on the pitch? With the MC players, I guess that's the danger of having three players from one club, especially on the defensive side.

Nice triple captain move.
Joe Hart dropped an F bomb in the tunnel before the game while NBCSN was airing that live. Rebecca Lowe apologized. Hart was in front of a bunch of kids waiting to escort players. One of the kids, who looked around 8, had to suppress a smile.

Anyone have Diego Costa?
You must really want to win. And have no ethics.

I'd be surprised if he was on any of our teams at this point. Costa's been one of the most expensive duds in the game this season. £11.1m for only one goal and one assist.
He reminds me of Claude Lemieux. If there was a poll of players to choose the dirtiest, Costa would surely be at the top.
The refs blew the call on Gabriel's red. Costa hit Koscielny twice in the face then chest-bumped Gabriel. He might have even set up Gabriel by stopping so that he'd be stepped on.

Nice weekend to have Pelle as your captain. This is probably my team's peak performance. I'm gonna revel in it.

I had Pelle, too. Finished with 72 points (no Monday players). That Man Chitty game will haunt me for a while.
As for Costa, I'd be curious to see if he gets retroactive punishment. Oh, it's Chelsea ... had it been a Bournemouth player, he'd be banned for a few matches, but it's Chelsea so all's cool. Don't want to get Jose's panties in a bunch!

FA have charged Costa, three game ban and all. Roman's clearly not paying the right people or they were distracted by all the oinking in London today.

Wait, can we use them each week? I've been waiting for a sign from Pele or something before pulling the Triple Captain on you fools. Also: Costa has gone from "Roddy Piper-esque fun" to just a shit as of this weekend.

I believe the options are one-time only in the season. I won't be using the bench-scoring this week; my 3 players haven't played much, but I've been tinkering with the starting XI for a few weeks. I'll go looking now, especially since I have 9 million in the bank.

Harry Kane has gotten 2 points all five weeks this season -- four of them for being a warm body on the field for 90 minutes. I'm tempted to stick with him just to see how long he can carry out that streak.
