The End of the Hoop Dream: A Journey to the Extreme Fringe of International Basketball. That was a great read. I was surprised the huckster was so bad at making money for himself, even turning down the 10% commission he was owed for one player's deal. He's as much a hopeless dreamer as most of the players he sells on his services.
I didn't realize the market for American basketball players went deep into the tiers of foreign leagues.

This is a fairly long but utterly fascinating read.
