British Strongman Sets Record By Lifting 1,018.5 Pounds: English weightlifter Eddie "The Beast" Hall broke his own world record with a deadlift of 1018.5 pounds at the Arnold Classic in Australia this weekend. Event namesake Arnold Schwarzenegger was there to cheer him on, raising his hand for a high five that found no partner. "I left him hanging at first, oops," Hall said.
