Lightning Can't Get Out Of Own Way, Blackhawks Go Up 3-2: The Chicago Blackhawks are one game from another Stanley Cup, winning game 5 2-1 over the Tampa Bay Lightning on the road. Chicago's first goal was scored by Patrick Sharp on what may be the easiest score in Stanley Cup Final history when both goalies are playing. Lightning goalie Ben Bishop ventured out to clear a puck and collided with defender Victor Hedman. The puck slid past Bishop and Sharp skated it into an empty net. Asked if he came out too far to play the puck, Bishop responded, "Yeah, I guess."
I like a series where the teams take turns winning two games in a row. Something about that dynamic is intriguing. Hoping to see this go 7 regardless of the eventual winner.
