Is Ligue 1 a revenue/profit sharing league?
If not - I find the idea that we'll change the integrity of a league to mitigate the downside risk for investors, but not do anything to share the upside potential for everyone, terribly unnerving.

Maybe Sam will be able to follow the same path as Doug Flutie and Jeff Garcia. Dominate in the CFL for a couple of years, and then catch the eye of an NFL team for a real shot this time.

I don't think the columns are wide enough for the full season, the federal income tax will overflow. But day-um!

France's Ligue 1 has reduced relegation from three teams to two because "investors need a little more security," per the league president.
I love the phrasing of this critical response from Pascal Dupraz, coach of Evian Thonon Gaillard: "This measure reduces the glorious incertitude of sport."
I fear that the Premiership will find ways to chip away at relegation.
