Still, undefeated when scoring more than their opponents. That's pretty impressive. I wonder if they can keep that pace up.

I went back to figure out what date that game was on the premise I would feel a copious amount of schadenfreude to know a stat that stupid was also wrong.

Sadly, they used this key to improve to 13-0 that day.

I was hoping my Padres would finally have something that they're exceptionally good at compared to the rest of the league, so I went back and checked where their streak of winning such games stands within baseball history, and unfortunately it turns out they're only ahead of Seattle, Toronto, Tampa, Colorado, Arizona and Miami; and pretty close to tied with Milwaukee, Kansas City, and Washington/Montreal. Stupid Padres.
