Jameis Winston is definitely over those maturity issues and Totally Gets It Now. I can't remember the last time I disliked a not-yet-pro athlete this much-- maybe Laettner?

I also don't like that scoutmaster look that Jimbo Fisher puts on when he is challenged about Winston's conduct.
I would like to take all the global ridicule from the Mark Sanchez butt fumble, add it to the ridicule from Winston's falling statue fumble against Oregon, and roll it all up into a large anal probe.
If there was a god, Schiano would still be coaching the Bucs.

Jameis Winston
The crab legs photo does not show a lack of maturity. Rather it displays a massive arrogance on the part of someone who has been catered to since the time his athletic ability was first noticed. Sooner or later one of two things will happen. He will be brought up short on a leash and realize that acting like a punk is about to cost him a lot of money, or he will continue in his behavioral pattern and get himself into some real trouble that cannot be covered up. If it is the former, Winston might just have a chance to become something; if the latter, he's done and Tampa Bay is the big loser.
Maybe it's a New England Puritan rectitude thing, but I share the intense dislike for Mr. W.

Hoping this year's top o' the draft becomes Manning and Leaf 2.0
Winston took the # 3 jersey. Did they retire Josh Freeman's number?

You've got to hand it to AP's agent Ben Dogra - fresh off asking for a trade, he's now just asking for more money for the guy who's already set to be the highest paid RB in the league if his contract plays through. Who needs leverage or an agency when you've got a 30-year-old running back who missed a season for a suspension and has an image problem?
