I've never seen a team accused of running up the score for doing an onside kick four minutes into the second quarter.
Dallas was only up by 13 at the time. They lost to a scrub-quarterbacked Washington team in week 8, so I think it was smart to go for a big lead.

For Dallas fans, how to cope with the shame that comes with seeing the Cowboys rack it up on the hapless Washington scrubs by calling for a first half onsides kick?
It apparently helps to also be a fan of one of the league's less successful franchises.
