James Rodriguez jumped from Monaco to Madrid today, for about 80 million Euros.
Monaco double their money in a year. Then keep all of it because LOLTaxes.

Monaco vice-chairman Vadim Vasilyev said his club had no plans to sell Rodriguez, but were proud to be part of "one of the most significant transfers in football history". Vasilyev said: "The time came when the solution of a transfer was considered to be the most beneficial solution for all parties."

Shows what I know. I also didn't know he was a Real Madrid fan. Sid Lowe provides a good rundown of the open questions about where he fits in and who is leaving now that Kroos and Rodriguez have arrived.
Not addressed: how the hell this all works under Financial Fair Play regardless of who leaves. Then again, Real and Barca have such huge incomes maybe it does. Which suggests they should remove the first two words from the title.

As if LeBron's return wasn't enough to cement Cleveland's status as the national sports epicenter, it is now being reported that Johnny Manziel is the current king of NFL merchandise.
