Bruins-Canadiens rivalry to continue as Boston defeats Detroit in 5 (the first Boston goal is a thing of beauty if you find beauty in perfectly placed passing and some nice stickwork).

Bruins-Canadiens rivalry to continue
For the 35th time in the post-season, I believe. This is one of those rivalries where form is sometimes immaterial. Hockey is an emotional game to start with, and when these 2 get together, players sometimes lose control of themselves. The key is to hold oneself together, play your game within your team's structure, and see how it all turns out. Montreal has a speed edge, Boston has size, and is not as slow as some think. I suggest that anyone who has a history of cardiac problems watch another series.

Is Jonjo destined to join that particularly English Hall of Interesting Players along with Andy Carroll, guys that make a good living because there's always a team willing to try to harness the talent that's there?

He dared to Zlatan!
The amazing thing is that even if the keeper was on his line in the middle of the net, the way that thing was bending made it seem like he STILL wouldn't have been able to stop it.
His first move would have been to the other side of the net, then back to the middle, and (much too late) a desperate leap to get a hand on it.

Everton doing their best today to ensure Arsenal finish in the top four.
The Toffees scored two goals against Southampton and lost 2-0, which is a rare trick.
