Dayton and Harvard win. There goes my Billion.

And probably lots of other peoples' as well.

Warren Buffet's money is looking safer and safer.

I've got 11 correct picks so far today. Something has gone terribly terribly wrong.

Dark lords are watching over Buffet's coin, front loading the tourney with three 12-5 matchups on the first day. Two of which produced the desired buster-upper result.

With Dayton beating Columbus and the King of Akron possibly mulling a move back to Cleveland, O-hi-o is bidding to become the nominal epicenter of US hoops.

I think Dayton and Harvard were fairly common upset picks. I didn't enter the thingy here, but I saw a lot of chatter about those, picked Dayton myself and thought harder than most picks about Harvard. A bunch of people probably picked one or the other but not both.

The killer for me was this evening - I picked NC State, St. Joe's and North Dakota, so I was sitting there following the scores at work feeling like a genius. Then I left to go home and everything went to shit. At least North Dakota pulled it out. Buffet had already earned the right to keep his money thanks to Harvard

If I made up a T shirt that read "Harvard is the new Princeton" and hopped on the Red Line to Harvard Square, I wonder how that would go.

Ha! That's awesome. Do it!

If Mercer is somehow able to deep six Duke, shouldn't part of the Buffet billion be allocated to the Bears for meritorious public service?

(Stipends also to VCU and others who have sent Duke home early in prior years).

Pretty much an annual headline recently ....

"X pulls off the biggest upset in the tournament beating Duke"

Which isn't really accurate at all. They were a 4th place team in their conference losing to another conference's regular season and tournament champion and the only way the term upset can be applied is the initial seeding of the 2 teams. Duke is perennially over rated by 3 or 4 seeds.

Those &*!%$%%$^$ers would need to make eye contact to get annoyed. For two stops on either side everyone 17-30 is so sure you're in awe of them they never look.
