I'm sure it had nothing to do with me picking up the Southampton goalie this week.

If you're looking for insight into NFL medical issues, why not follow @ProFootballDoc on Twitter? Oh right, because he's a former NFL doctor who finally got fired after a zillion substance abuse issues.
Since we were arguing about, Bob Ryan decided to wade into the fray with his list of the 25 greatest Red Sox of all time.

Getting up to .500 in NFL pickem is my impossible dream. My team No Danny No! is 5 of 12 so far this week.

Seeing your team compete for the first overall draft pick is miserable. The incentive to tank in the NFL is huge.
I have an off-the-wall idea for this: Make the worst four or eight teams play for the first pick. Play the final game on the weekend currently occupied by the Pro Bowl. Play the earlier rounds on Thursday nights. The winner gets the first pick and runner-up second, and the rest are in order of how far they advanced.
This would hurt teams like the Jags this year, because they're so spectacularly bad, but maybe the GM doesn't let them fall all the way to rock bottom without the benefit of tanking.

The Jaguars traded up two places in 2012 to pick a Wide Receiver who just got suspended, then in round three they selected a Punter five places before the Seahawks grabbed Russel Wilson.
There's no way they're doing this on purpose.

Seneca Wallace in for Green Bay. So much for that spread.

That was only the 4th goal that Southampton had given up all year..and it's from a bottom-table team, by a goalie, from 100 yards out, in the first 4 minutes of the game.
