B.C. surprises even me at how thoroughly they dominated the Bombers. Calgary does likewise, putting the home team to shame in Guelphilton. Toronto finishes off the best road trip in league history, going 4-4 with four fourth-quarter comeback victories. Back east, Montreal grinds out a much-needed defensive win against the free-falling 'Riders.
cixelsyd keeps pace with the pack, while MrFrisby nails the Montreal spread to jump into contention for second place.
Every single game this week has an impact on the playoff race! (Note that this is not entirely unusual in an eight-team league.)
WEEK 15
Hamilton @ Toronto (Friday, October 4)
Despite Toronto's hot streak, the Ti-Cats could theoretically catch them for the division lead, but that makes this week's game a must-win for them. If they lose, Guelph may see its first CFL playoff game in approximately 600 years.
Saskatchewan @ B.C. (Friday, October 4)
Speaking of catching, if Saskatchewan still wants a playoff home game, they're going to have to stop their four-game losing streak. In British Columbia. That's not a task for the faint of heart.
Montreal @ Edmonton (Saturday, October 5)
Montreal's season could go either way. A few wins and they're got a home playoff date. A few losses and they're eliminated via crossover to these very same Edmonton Eskimoes. A win this week takes a crossover off the table, and that's a start.
Winnipeg @ Calgary (Saturday, October 5)
Will Winnipeg win another game this year? Probably not.
Good luck!
