I would bet it's been done in a double-header when the 2 games started on the same day, but 2 walk-off wins that ended on the same day in games that started on consecutive days might just be unique. Boston's overcoming a 5-run deficit in the 9th inning last night, after a 15-inning grinder that had ended after midnight was something to behold. I guess the old adage about never knowing what you'll see at the ball park still holds true.

Howard, that 15 inning job also began in July and ended in August.
