Watched a few minutes after the end of the Champions League final.

Most surprising thing to me is the teams came over for friendlies now rather than the normal late July/early August preseason warmups. Those games are also about money but at least serve a football purpose; these, which had strong reported attendance, can be about nothing but avarice and I'm glad LFC isn't doing any.
