I've decided I want the 49ers to win the Super Bowl, primarily because I don't think the media will try and turn Colin Kaepernick into a elite quarterback if they win.

Nice try, MeatSaber, but it really did happen (as I'm sure you know anyway). The clothing on the fans is easily explained by the fact the game was played in May - an unusually warm Mother's Day, if I remember correctly - and the old Boston Garden was a notorious sweat box. The lighting angle was nearly direct overhead, you can see the shadow at the corner of the near post. The flash from the photographer probably wiped out any shadows that might have been there anyway. The limits on the area framed in the picture cut off the skates of the Bruin in the right foreground. Anyway, I saw the game on TV that day, and unless they had some awfully clever staging, it was real.
I suppose a web site called Cracked.com is intended for humor, but could they not come up with something better?
Sorry. I'm in a grumpy mood because my wife insists on watching the Super Bowl while I really wanted to watch something more interesting, like a replay of this afternoon's Celtics vs Clippers game or The Music man on Turner Classic Movies. She's in one of those stupid number squares things, and just has to watch every play to find out the score by quarters.

Seems like the picture would be better suited for The Onion.

Cracked would be a great site if A) it didn't insist on splitting articles over multiple pages to boost ad views, and B) was actually funny.

I'm in a better mood now. Wife hit one of her squares for $50, so maybe I'll con her into taking me out for dinner.

Indeed, it was. I thought it was a good take on the moon landing conspiracy, and posted it here. Also, I figured there was at least one Bruins fan I could get a rise out of...seems I was right... =D

Cracked can be hit or miss with the comedy, but I find some of their articles to be interesting without necessarily being funny. As for the multiple pages, I figure if I haven't learned anything or laughed in the first page, there's no sense continuing. They gotta earn my clicks...
I do find some of their videos to be hilarious, though. After Hours is a particular fave...

One Bruins fan who admits he is old enough to have seen the game on TV.
