Just rooting through the archives... 10 years ago Tom Coughlin had been kicked to the curb by the Jaguars. 5 years ago the Patriots had just wrapped up a 16-0 regular season.
This week the BS Report flashed back to 2008 and the podcast the week before the Superbowl, as Simmons and Football Outsiders' Aaron Schatz, (both big Patriot fans), confidently predict that New England will beat the Giants by at least 20 points.

We're inching closer to the announcement of the Baseball Hall of Fame voting results, and every indicator I've seen at some online voting aggregators (BBTF, SBNation (spreadsheet)), leads me to believe that ZERO players will be added to the veterans' committee choices this year.
Biggio, Bagwell, Raines, Piazza, and Morris are the ones that currently look like they'll break 50% but fall short of 75%.
