CFL Pick 'Em, Week 8: It's a tiebreaker week as the logjam at the top gets shattered. No such luck in the CFL standings though. Hedge your bets and make your picks inside.

Just a quickie for tonight's game, and I'll make the rest tomorrow.
Hamilton by 8.

Now for the rest of the story (that line has been used by somebody, I know):
Montreal at Edmonton: I just can't see Alouettes going west and knocking off Eskimos. Edmonton by 11.
Toronto at Calgary: Argos held off the Stamps by 3 in Toronto. I look for a reversal of the verdict in Calgary. Stampeders by 3.
Saskatchewan at BC: This might be a case of "how much?" rather than "who?" Saskatchewan has a chance, but not much of a chance. Watch the Lions fall apart now. BC by 14.
Just a quickie for tonight's game, and I'll make the rest tomorrow.
Hamilton by 8.
Did I say that? I really meant Winnipeg.
Nice try, Howard, but at least you almost nailed the spread.

Calgary rides a big fourth quarter to a comeback in Hamilton, and Edmonton stands its ground at home.
No more ties! bender nails the Calgary spread to jump out in front.
Back to a full slate of games this week, with all the grudge therein.
WEEK 8
Hamilton @ Winnipeg (Thursday, August 16)
Hamilton's been their usual inconsistent self this year, but Winnipeg has just been plain awful. Take the points, and hide them somewhere safe.
Montreal @ Edmonton (Friday, August 17)
Is Edmonton creaking back to life? Will Commonwealth Stadium infuse them with energy? Can Stephen Jyles really beat Anthony Calvillo? I'm still not convinced.
Toronto @ Calgary (Saturday, August 18)
Toronto's gone six consecutive quarters without a touchdown, and Calgary leads the league in points scored. This could be a tough one.
Saskatchewan @ B.C. (Sunday, August 19)
Saskatchewan is last in the West. If they were in the East, they would be tied for first. You do the math.
Good luck!
