OHL fines Windsor Spitfires $400,000 and strips club of five draft picks

Surely I read the article, but see nothing about Windsor's strip clubs. (Or the Windsor Ballet if you're an underaged Detroit area teenager looking to cruise over the border to hit the titty bars.)

Well played, NoMich.

In all seriousness, what the hell could they have done that warranted such a punishment?

It's my understanding that the Spitfires paid players under the table to choose the OHL instead of an NCAA school. There was a recent report in a Michigan student newspaper of the Kitchener Rangers doing the something similar. It wouldn't surprise me if the London Knights have partaken in the same shenanigans. The Knights seem to have an ability to entice players who have committed to NCAA schools to suddenly change their mind and join the Hunter brothers hockey factory.

Or the Windsor Ballet

I went to school in Rochester, NY without ever making it to the fabled strip clubs up North and yet I still think of every "gentleman's club" as the Canadian Ballet. Such wonderful funding for the arts.

Asked to move their boxing commentary position, NBC picked up and left entirely.

Heartbreak for the Canadian 4x100 men's sprinters, as they have an unexpected 3rd place finish, but don't get the bronze (due to a lane violation on video review).

Mesmerizing.

I think that's the Spanish team and some of the stuff they did was ridiculous. I especially liked when the coverage went to the split cams so that you could see the graceful work above the surface and the madness underneath.

I can see that they're under arrest, but what happened to their heads?

If they ever make a QWOP style game for diving, I imagine all my dives would look like that...
