CFL Pick 'Em, Week 5: Welcome to the age of parity. Division titles are up for grabs, and we have our third pick 'em leader in four weeks. Be a part of the insanity and make your picks inside.

More drama in the strangest places. Toronto blows the lead but then gets it back over Winnipeg. Calgary pulls off the OT comeback against the 'Riders. Edmonton pulls one out of its hat in B.C., and Hamilton stands its ground at home.

Margin of Error2 to 42 to 49 to 1711 to 20

A nail of the Hamilton spread makes bender our third leader in four weeks. That's just crazy!

Have you ever seen a season this even? Anyone could end up in a tie for first place in their division after this weekend. Anyone but Winnipeg.

Edmonton @ Winnipeg (Thursday, July 26)
This one may be closer than you think. Winnipeg has nearly pulled off a couple wins, while Edmonton still hasn't found their offence.

Toronto @ Montreal (Friday, July 27)
These two teams just may be a little more evenly matched this year. But Montreal has yet to lose at home, and Toronto has yet to win on the road.

Hamilton @ Saskatchewan (Saturday, July 28)
Believe it or not, this is a battle of two division leaders. Believe it or not.

B.C. @ Calgary (Saturday, July 28)
And this is the battle for the basement. Winner may move into a tie for first, loser will sink to the bottom.

Good luck!

Hot damn! Flipping a coin has gotten me 7/8 right in the last two weeks (since I started doing it), and randomly punching numbers in a calculator nailed a spread last week! I should stop now before the law of averages breaks me... but I won't.

It would appear nothing is going according to form in the early CFL season. It's a bit like my adventures last week, when I, another adult (female), and 4 teens (2 of each sex) put stain on a 2-story house, tore up the flooring, stairs, and rails of a deck, and then rebuilt the deck and stairs. We got it done in 4 1/2 working days, and none of us had ever done anything like this before. Point is that anything can happen when you put your mind to it.

With that thought, here are the predictions guesses:

Edmonton at Winnipeg (or is it Winlesspeg): For some reason this one scares me. Eskimos should have an easy time of it, but something tells me they won't. I'm going with Edmonton by 4.

Toronto at Montreal: Each with an even record so far, each having given up over 100 points total, and each having scored above the century mark, what's a picker to do? Perhaps a page from Bender's book is the way to go, but I don't know which is heads or tails on Canadian coins. I'll just take the home team, and let it go at that. Montreal by 9.

Hamilton at Saskatchewan: Tiger Cats seem to do all right against teams in their neighborhood, but have problems with those from the other end of Canada. They lost at home to the Rough Riders, and I see them doing the same away. Saskatchewan by 14.

BC at Calgary: Sooner or later Lions have to get consistent. I'll take sooner and call BC by 12.

FYI - I received JPR's picks via text message before the EDM-WPG game. So they're good to go.
