Everton's Tim Cahill Joins Red Bulls: Australian midfielder Tim Cahill, 32, is moving to the New York Red Bulls after eight years at Everton in the Premiership and seven years prior to that at Millwall. He has 108 club goals and 24 for the Australian national team.
The kid from Bexley North is a hard worker who (if he remains injury free) will give you some bite in the forward third of the pitch. He's also good at set pieces for someone not overly tall.
And he might get a few Samoans in NY interested in football rather than NFL. I've been to his Mum's village where he's a dead set hero.

As an Everton fan, I'll miss him. I hope this means he's surplus to requirements and not that Mr. Kenwright needs running around money.

Still needs to agree to personal terms and pass a physical. Seems like a done deal, but as my friend pointed out, Rule #1 of RBNY Rumor Mill: Nothing is official until he holds up the jersey at the press conference.
