Serena Williams Wins Fifth Wimbledon Title: At the age of 30, sixth-seeded Serena Williams completed an unexpected Wimbledon singles title run with a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 victory over Agnieszka Radwanska. She joins her sister as five-time Wimbledon singles champs, winning her first Grand Slam title in two years.
That explains a lot- I was wondering who those other people were!

Amen. Who else but the Brits know better? This is what happens when the Duchess of Kent steps away from the center of the fray.
Olympics are coming. Time for decorum regroup.
Just realized that I may be in for a second half of summer of seeing Pippa in close proximity via cable as the Games commence.
If the rain lets up.

Serena's win in (I believe) game four of the third set was incredible, slamming four consecutive aces past Radwanska. Awesome display.
The final match seemed to only be a question of whether Serena could keep her focus and ultimately put Radwanska away, which she obviously managed to do.

It's a funky tradition to put the family and friends of both finalists in the same seating area. When Serena climbed into the box and hugged a half-dozen people, Radwanska's group was right next to them.
