SportsFilter: The Thursday Huddle:

Lots of Thunder icons on Met Our Test's weather map.
I'm afraid he's late to the game. Vancouver had their sports riot last year.
Meanwhile, at the Weather Channel, it's white knuckle time as all hands pray for a Heat - Thunder Finals.

Per grum's request in another huddle, I have set up a confidence pool for the 2012 European Championships for those not interested in the player-based fantasy league or interested in both. Get your picks in before noon eastern time tomorrow.
Details in this Locker Room thread.

With the signing of Jamie Moyer by the Baltimore Orioles, we have a chance for two records to be broken.
1) Most ballparks played in.
Moyer holds the old record (50), but can add one more to his record if he gets a chance to play in Minnesota (in July).
2) Largest combined age for batter vs pitcher.
If he faces the Blue Jays and goes up against Omar Vizquel, they'll break the record set by Roger Clemens vs Julio Franco on June 15, 2007.
There are two records he won't be able to break:
1) Largest age difference for batter vs pitcher.
That's held by Satchel Paige (1906/07/07) vs Tony Conigliaro (1945/01/07) on September 25, 1965. It's impossible for Moyer to face a batter 38 years younger than him.
2) Largest combined age for batter/pitcher/catch.
That's held by Julio Franco/Roger Clemens/Jorge Posada on June 15, 2007.
For Moyer to break the record, he'd have to face Omar Vizquel and hope the Orioles sign a catcher who is at least 35 years old. Their current catchers are in their early 20s.

Until Ghost of Bill Veeck hires an 11 year-old pinch-hitter, that is.

Going: 50% of the Klitschkos.
