N.J. state troopers face probe for 'Death Race 2012' down Parkway to AC: Brandon Jacobs, recently of the Super Bowl champion NJNY Giants, was one of the alleged racers. "In the complaints, obtained by The Star-Ledger, witnesses said that in the early afternoon of March 30, they saw two State Police patrol cars with their emergency lights flashing driving in front of and behind the southbound caravan, which included dozens of Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other vehicles, all with their license plates covered with tape."

NJ, where I was born and lived for over 30 years, continues to be seriously corrupt. And in such ridiculous ways too.

Jeez, if you're going to own and operate a high dollar, high performance ride, the least you can do is get one of those James Bond rotating license plates, even if you're not driving an Aston Martin.

Covering plate numbers with tape is the automotive equivalent of identifying yourself as Ron Mexico.

Hmm. If New Jersey's leading the pack, that doesn't give much hope to the rest of us...

I was born & raised in NJ and lived there up until 3 years ago when I decided to move because of the obvious negative changes that gradually took a chokehold of the Garden State. The violence & corruption has completely gotten out of hand and I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel which is such a shame.

Yikes. Coming from a resident of Nevada, home of the straight and narrow.

Tahoemoj, NJ has been at it so long we are past masters of hiding it. Don't believe that article, at all.
