Kansas City Royals Miss Playoffs Yet Again

For yet another year, Kansas City Royals fans will not get to see their favorite team in the playoffs. "At some point", said long time season ticket holder Hank Rearden, "ownership needs to make a change at the GM and Manager position. I'm not even sure I will be purchasing season tickets again next year." Currently sitting in third place in the American League Central Division with a record of 0-0, the Royals will clearly have to do better next year. It will be interesting to see if any management shakeups occur during the coming offseason.

Thought this was kind of early for a team to be eliminated from the playoffs. I guess the Fans don't have to worry about getting there expectations up for the rest of the season."

The Devs are trying to determine if writing off the Royals' chances in the first week of April without a game played is a bug, or if the AI has become self aware.

Lots of stories like that in Pittsburgh already this year. The Pirates are currently 2-1 after taking a series from Philly. The bet around here is, once the Pirates fall below .500, will they get there again.

I think any glitch involving the Royals still has to be considered primarily a hardware issue.
