After giving my MLB.tv purchase the entire weekend to mull over, I stand by my initial reaction to it: IT'S SO FREAKIN' AWESOME! Worth every penny I paid for it.

Spent any time in Bagdad?

I'm sure I have, but I don't know exactly where Bagdad is, even though I should be able to get there in minutes.

We have small towns that are made up of smaller towns, and at some point, I choose not to recognize them. Most people here just say he's from Milton.

If Ted Williams or DiMaggio came into the league today, the clubs that signed them would think about having them checked out for possible eating disorders.

Fran Tarkenton thinks Gregg Williams "should go to prison" and said players from his generation are outraged. "We didn't play with bounties," he said. "Dick Butkus didn't have bounties on anybody, or there wouldn't have been anybody to play because he would've killed them all."

Fran should have tried his own prescription if he thinks prison cures. That goddamn gasbag was the only person to make me feel bad for Brett Favre. I'll be damned if he does it for Gregg Williams as well.
